Day 8: AC/DC's Bon Scott

We visited Fremantle, Australia today.  This is where Bon Scott, the lead singer of AC/DC, grew up and was buried.  We got to go to the cemetery where he peacefully lays today, along with see the statue honoring him at the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour.

Christmas Day

There were lights all over and it was absolutely gorgeous! People everywhere, children glowing, and cameras flashing; joy filled the air. Even though it was stressful trying to keep up with my family, I was still able to soak in all the beautiful sites around me. The food was wonderful and the shopping was a ton of fun as well. This was a magical experience that I will never forget.

The Notre Dame Cathedral was the same story:  just as breath taking as the rest of the city. They set up a twenty meter Christmas tree in front and a manger inside. I could tell that Christmas is one of the most important holidays celebrated there because the ceiling tells the Christmas story year long. The detail was amazing; I've never seen anything like it in my life.
